Zen Master Seung Sahn's 20th Anniversary Memorial

To mark the 20th Anniversary of Zen Master Seung Sahn's passing, a memorial ceremony took place on 1 December at Hae Su Zen Center.
To practise diligently in order to attain our true nature to benefit ourselves and others is the best way to show our gratitude and pay tribute to our great teacher.
In this ceremony, not only were the participants able to enjoy practising in the beauty of nature, they were also able to enjoy watching a video produced by Su Bong Monastery about Zen Master Seung Sahn. In addition, Sifu (Zen Master Dae Kwan), Bon Sun Sunim JDPS and a few senior students shared their experience of the great Zen Master and his teaching, remembering his unique style.
To wrap up the day's proceedings, everyone offered flowers to Zen Master Seung Sahn as a symbol of gratitude.
